How to build a Club

If you want to build a club, you've probably asked yourself, "Where do I start?". This guide will walk you step by step how to build your very own club.

Step One: Ask yourself, what kind of club do I want? Vampire Lounge? Dive Bar? Dance Lounge? This is necessary for the next step.

Step Two: 

Pick the lot you will be using and Zone it accordingly

I'm using the lot the diner was on and zoned it for a Dance Club

Step Three:

Build the main structural components of the building. Walls, doors, windows, etc. Don't forget bathrooms

Step Four:

Furnish the Bathrooms however you wish. 

Step Five: Optional

Build a stage, found under Foundations, and place one of each instrument on it. You only have to do this if you want live music or your bands to be able to play gigs here.

Step Six:

If you don't want live music, but still want dancing, sprinkle some stereos on the walls, found in build mode under community objects and Misc.

Step Seven:

Build the actual bar area. In order to have a mixologist come to man the bar, it can't just be any one, it has to say Professional in the name. The bottles behind the bar are just decoration.

Step Eight:

Don't forget the dance floor if you're building a dance club! Remember to CAST it so that it matches the style of bar you're going for.

Step Nine:

Gobo's and Effects machines make every party extra awesome. You will find them with the rest of the party supplies. 

Step Ten: Optional

You can add some tables and chairs if you want. They make for great conversations and a place for your sims to boogie-oogie-oogie all night long!

Step Eleven:

Put the rope barrier around any doors you wish a bouncer to spawn at (found in Build Mode/Community Objects/Misc. Objects). Enter cheat "testingcheatsenabled true". Then press "Ctrl-Shift" and click the fence. Here you set who gets in. Set "Access Level to Limited". The rest is up to you. You can set how many celebrity stars you need to get in, I picked one star. You can also set which occults are always allowed in, I set it to Vampires. Lastly, you can set how much money you have to bribe the bouncer with to get in, or not set a bribe limit, I set mine to "Medium".

Step Twelve:

Make any finishing touches. Extra lights, tables, front walkway, roof, etc...

And then YOU'RE DONE!
